Great local dinning on Hwy 24. Friendly people, reasonable prices, large portions and good food just as the their name implies, it is Almost Home cooking. A must try cafe for those desiring to experience great local flavors and atmosphere.
We used to love this place. Last few times we went they messed up our order and the food was sub par. Today they were not even busy and they messed up our order. There were long gray hairs in my wife's food. My chicken fried steak was doughy and disgusting. And to top it all off the lady in the kitchen had a attitude about it. This place has went down hill. Matter of fact it's the worst food we've ever had eating out. We kept giving them more chances because it used to be sooo good. Never again.
Great home cooked meal and by home cooked I mean small town dining at it's core which is hard to find!... If you're looking for country style atmosphere and friendly service then I suggest this place as your next stop.
